This short Kit is based on the Giant Scale Ercoupe Plan, ideal for experienced modelers and beginner modelers alike, features detailed instructions for a three-piece wing, Robart gear struts, and a Zenoah G-23 engine setup. This plan utilizes conventional balsa and plywood, streamlined for those familiar with model building, and includes an instructional guide with building notes. It recommends 1 oz fiberglass cloth for the fuselage and iron-on cloth for wings. Belair provides laser-cut balsa and plywood parts, including fuselage sides, bulkheads, and wing ribs, with additional wood needed for completion. The Ercoupe, a WWII-era low wing monoplane, is noted for its safety. The model features a two-piece wing with a 7/8" diameter joiner for easy transport.
